Sensoryx is proud to have been a part of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2024, which took place from May 27 to 31 in Geneva, Switzerland. This prestigious event brought together communication ministers and representatives from around the world, including many from emerging markets, to discuss the future of global digital transformation. WSIS 2024 was marked by strong support from major sponsors, including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the event’s importance on the global stage.
Following its successful debut at the Cannes Film Festival, sensoryx extended the innovative Virtual Signbook concept to WSIS 2024. This time, the technology was introduced to a completely different demographic, consisting of global policymakers, government officials, and leaders from various international organizations. The Virtual Signbook provided an interactive platform for attendees to leave their digital signatures, symbolizing their participation and commitment to global digital initiatives.
Our presence at WSIS 2024 was made possible through the support of key partners. Keck Electronic was instrumental in setting up and facilitating our demonstrations, ensuring that the technology was showcased effectively. We were also delighted to have the renowned Franco-Swiss artist Alexia Weill join us once again, performing live and integrating the Virtual Signbook into her artistic expressions. Her performances were a highlight, drawing significant attention and adding a creative dimension to our booth.
Additionally, we were honored by the participation of Salar Shahna, who delivered an impactful speech on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Stage. His presentation, which emphasized the critical role of digital innovation in achieving global development goals, resonated strongly with the audience and received widespread acclaim.
WSIS 2024 was not only an opportunity for sensoryx to showcase our latest innovations but also a platform to support a crucial global event. By participating in WSIS, we contributed to the ongoing dialogue around digital transformation and the development of inclusive, sustainable digital societies. The event provided us with invaluable insights and the chance to connect with key stakeholders who are shaping the future of global communication and technology.
