California Dreamin’: Back from AWE and LA Tech Week

Sensoryx stepped into the heart of the XR industry at the Augmented World Expo (AWE) 2023. Sensoryx’s CEO, Rolf Adelsberger, and BD Director, Salar Shahna, participated in a panel discussing the buzzing topic of haptics in VR.

AWE 2023 marked an electrifying comeback of the expo to full capacity after the pandemic. It amassed a larger audience than ever, creating a hub of innovation and collaborative opportunities. It was indeed a sensational edition filled with inspiring conversations, tech discoveries, and networking opportunities.

At the event, Sensoryx had the opportunity to connect with significant partners such as Lynx. The expo served as a melting pot for the most innovative minds and offered an array of opportunities to explore potential collaborations with new technology companies.

One of the highlights was Rolf Adelsberger’s participation in the panel discussion, “HAPTICS TECHNOLOGY: WHAT TO EXPECT”. The session featured leading executives from the XR industry and offered a unique platform to discuss key considerations when designing haptics experiences and products.

This engaging panel of thought leaders, including Soojeong Kim from bHaptics, Alex Meland from Contact CI, Kim Oberg from HaptX, Rolf Adelsberger from Sensoryx, and moderator Ashley Huffman from TITAN Haptics, led an enlightening discussion on the future of haptics technology.

We are thrilled to share an exciting snapshot of Cas and Chary, the dynamic duo behind the popular YouTube channel and blog, as they delve into the world of VR creativity, testing out our innovative stylus to bring their artistic visions to life!

In conclusion, Sensoryx’s presence at AWE 2023 was not only a substantial stride into the US market but also a testament to the company’s pioneering role in shaping the future of haptic technology. The event served as a powerful catalyst, strengthening Sensoryx’s resolve to drive innovation in the XR industry and fostering new alliances.

LA tech week 2023

Following the productive stint at AWE, the Sensoryx journey continued southward to Los Angeles, the venue for the dynamic LA Tech Week. The City of Angels was brought alive with an exciting line-up of events aimed at celebrating technology in its myriad forms. We were thrilled to participate in various activities, especially those connected to spatial computing.

The vibrant week commenced with a buzz as Apple announced its latest XR headset, the Vision Pro. The introduction of this platform provided a positive boost to the industry, creating a sense of enthusiasm amongst tech enthusiasts and investors.

During the LA Tech Week, Sensoryx had the opportunity to showcase its stylus to the Los Angeles community. It was particularly remarkable to present our innovation to leading artists from both the XR domain, such as SUTU, and traditional fields, including Yalda Sepahpour. The feedback and enthusiasm for our products were overwhelming, and it was a joy to witness the sheer diversity of participants.

 

 

 

Reflecting on these events, one can’t help but appreciate the creative growth that crosses California, from north to south. The diversity, innovation, and forward-thinking approach of the participants and the wider community have further solidified our commitment to pushing the boundaries in XR technology.
